There’s been a lot of buzz regarding Google Ventures (the new VC fund of Google) after their recent announcement.
As I discussed in my earlier post, Google is uniquely positioned to gain access to innovative ideas through its user base. BLOGfrontier has an interesting article that continues this theme. The article discusses how the accessibility of Google combined with a growing unemployed, but skilled/educated, user base may allow for Google Ventures to take advantage of a new rank of entrepreneurs.
As I mentioned, it will be interesting to see how Google Ventures goes.
